I usually run my all pc without andy AV coz these day windows itself have many builtin security features that occasionlay dectect the melicious virus and can remove it from there rite away all you have ot do it have those features ,have it enable ,and all must be updated.

1. User : before downloading anything you should know if the web site is secured and raliable or not..there are few steps involve in it.
1: if urls says https is more secured then http

3: the most common is the last software you downloaded since you'r having virus in you pc is the main cause that harm you pc better to remove it.
2. Firewall : Turn on the firewall option and keep your network private.It is used to prevent malicious malware from entering your computers network or the network you are currently signed on to.
